• Possible school closures, boundary study are on the agenda for Montgomery County schools (wtop.com) — Montgomery Village families could see school closures or new boundaries as Montgomery County Public Schools launch a two-year study responding to declining enrollment. This year's Phase I will examine possible elementary and middle school consolidations, with public meetings from late October through January and final closure decisions expected in May, followed by a countywide boundary study starting in 2027-28.
