• Montgomery County police shift away from Chinese-made drones over security concerns (wjla.com) — Montgomery County police are now using American-made drones for nearly 600 calls a month, often reaching scenes before officers and flying over neighborhoods like Montgomery Village. The department recently replaced Chinese-made DJI drones with U.S.-built models over data security concerns, as national scrutiny grows about where sensitive policing footage could ultimately end up.
