PHOTOS: Demonstrators Converge at City Hall for Rally Against Police Brutality
A march from west Baltimore to City Hall was to conclude with rally.
Crowds were building in front of Baltimore’s City Hall ahead of a rally billed as a protest against police brutality.
Vendors sold shirts that said “Black Lives Matter” in the grassy square in front of City Hall, where many gathered as news trucks lined the perimeter to take it all in.
Meanwhile, the National Guard was posted in front of City Hall, the Inner Harbor and in west Baltimore, where marchers were set to head out from Gilmor Homes at noon, concluding downtown by 2 p.m.
