Watch: Live Stream of Donald Trump at National Guard Conference in Baltimore
Trump spoke at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, skewering his opponent in the race for the Presidency.
BALTIMORE, MD — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke in Baltimore Monday afternoon at the National Guard Association's annual conference, dedicating most of his comments to skewering opponent Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
Army and Air National Guard officers from across the country gathered at the Baltimore Convention Center, where Trump delivered remarks at 1 p.m.
Trump addressed military members less than a week after saying U.S. generals "have been reduced to rubble" last Wednesday at an NBC forum called "Commander in Chief."

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who also attended the NBC forum, later called Trump's comments "unpatriotic and insulting to the people of our country." Clinton also came down on Trump's supporters, saying she would put half of them "into what I call the basket of deplorables," identifying them as xenophobic, racist and homophobic.
In Baltimore, Trump focused on this comment, defending his supporters and positioning himself as a voice for people who are battling against political maneuvering.

"She divides people into baskets as though they were objects, not human beings," Trump said.
"Hillary Clinton is an insider supported by powerful insiders attacking Americans who have absolutely no political power. Hillary Clinton spoke with hatred and derision for the people who make this country run. She spoke with contempt for the people who thanklessly follow the rules, pay their taxes and scratch out a living for their family — a hard-earned living too," Trump said. "While Hillary Clinton lives a sequestered life behind gates and walls and guards, she mocks and demeans hardworking Americans who only want their own families to enjoy a fraction of the security enjoyed by our politicians."
Said Trump: "After months of hiding from the press, Hillary Clinton has revealed her true thoughts. She revealed herself to be a person who looks down on the proud citizens of our country as subjects for her rule. She views it as her rule. Her comments displayed the same sense of arrogance and entitlement that led to violation of federal law as secretary of state, hide and delete her emails."
He said Clinton "believes she is above the law, that she is above accountability and that she is above each and every one of you. Our campaign is about giving voice to the voiceless. It's about representing the forgotten men and women of this country."
Trump continued: "I'm here to represent everyone but especially those who are struggling against injustice and unfairness. I am running so that the powerful can no longer beat up on the powerless."
