• Montgomery Co. nonprofit delivers hundreds of reusable menstrual pads to girls in Comoros (wtop.com) — A Montgomery County nonprofit that sews reusable menstrual pads now has active sewing and cutting chapters in North Potomac, giving local volunteers a hands-on way to support girls' education in Comoros. Residents can join Rockville- and North Potomac-based groups that fundraise, sew, and cut materials so hundreds of girls can stay in school despite limited access to menstrual products.
