North Potomac-Darnestown Crime: Residents Report Several Burglaries

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

There were a few burglaries in the area at the beginning of March. No violent crime was reported.

  • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 13500 block of Travilah Road, North Potomac on Sunday, 3/4 at 7:34 p.m. Unsuccessful forced entry; nothing taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 11300 block of Amberlea Farm Road, North Potomac on Friday, 3/2 between 9:10 a.m. and 1:22 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 13500 block of Magruder Farm Court, Darnestown on Thursday, 3/1 at 9:21 a.m. Forced entry; unknown what was taken.
  • An attempted commercial burglary occurred at Absolute Mac, 805 Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg, sometime between Wednesday 2/29 and Saturday 3/3. Forced entry; nothing taken.
