Two major lottery tickets were sold in Anne Arundel. A $250,000 winner was bought in Severn, and a $30,000 scratch-off came from Annapolis.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Two Anne Arundel County stores sold Maryland Lottery tickets worth major prizes. A $250,000 winner bought their scratch-off in Severn. A $30,000 victor got their game in Annapolis.
The Severn score came on a Cash scratcher purchased from the Telegraph Exxon at 805 Reece Road. The Annapolis player hit on a Diamond Bingo second edition ticket she bought from Giant No. 194, located at 2323 Forest Drive. She wants to buy a car with the prize and share some of the money with her brother.
Both anonymous winners claimed their prizes between Aug. 9 and Aug. 15. That week, 41 victors across Maryland won or claimed prizes of $10,000 or more. The lottery paid about $31.7 million during those seven days.
