$5K Reward Offered for Arrest of Severn Murder Suspect
Patrick Dixon planned to attend a party the night he was released from prison. Police say Daquon Pack shot him and people know where he is.

SEVERN, MD — A $5,000 reward has been offered for tips leading to the arrest of a man wanted in a Severn murder, and police say they know people can tell them where to find the accused shooter.
Anne Arundel County Police continue to search for Daquon Darryl Pack, 22, from the 7000 block of O'Daniel Court in Glen Burnie. Pack is wanted for the April 1 fatal shooting of an acquaintance, Patrick Maurice Dixon, 31, of Glen Burnie.

Dixon was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Pack reportedly had an issue in a Meade Village parking lot and shortly thereafter shot Dixon.
"We are aware that individuals know the whereabouts of Daquon Pack and are urging citizens to call. The police department is concerned that if individuals are aiding this violent fugitive from law enforcement authorities, they could possibly face criminal charges," police said in a news release Friday. "It is the goal of the police department to bring this investigation to a peaceful resolve."

The victim’s father, Miles Dixon, told The Capital-Gazette he loaned his son his truck so Patrick could check in with his parole officer -- the young Dixon had been released from prison just hours earlier. After the men talked, Patrick picked out an outfit to wear later at a homecoming party his sister was going to have for him that night.
Patrick left in the truck, but was shot and killed before he could make it home.
"I thought it was an April Fools' joke," his father said of the murder. "He wasn't even home eight hours and he was gone."
Pack is wanted on multiple charges, including murder. Police urge people not to approach Pack, whom authorities describe as armed and dangerous.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Pack, charging him with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, handgun on a person and reckless endangerment.
Anyone with information on Pack's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
Anne Arundel County Police ask anyone with information in the case to call the Anne Arundel County Homicide Unit at 410-222-4731.
