Motorcycle Crash Near Bass Pro Shop Kills Woman
A Baltimore woman who was a passenger on a motorcycle has died; police say alcohol use may have caused the collision near Arundel Mills.

HANOVER, MD — A Baltimore woman who was a passenger on a motorcycle died from injuries she suffered in a weekend crash near Bass Pro Shop in Hanover. Anne Arundel County Police say alcohol use by the driver of the motorcycle may have contributed to the collision. Krystal Doris Kohl, 35, of the 5500 block of Dolores Avenue in Baltimore, died Wednesday at Maryland Shock Trauma.
The accident happened just before 6 p.m. Sunday at Mills Boulevard and Bass Pro Drive in Hanover. A 2012 Victory motorcycle driven by Allen Warren Lull Jr, 31, of the 5500 block of Dolores Avenue in Baltimore, was eastbound on Bass Pro Drive approaching Arundel Mills Boulevard and reportedly driving between other vehicles that were stopped for a red traffic signal. Investigators say Lull's motorcycle entered the intersection against the red light and was struck by a 20011 Honda Pilot that was southbound on Arundel Mills Boulevard; that driver had a green light, police say.
Lull and Kohl were both taken to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious injuries. The 34-year-old female from Elkridge who was driving the Honda Pilot, along with a 12-year-old girl who was a passenger, both suffered minor injuries and were taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

Police say the primary cause of the accident appears to be Lull's failure to stop at the red signal. Alcohol may have also been a contributing factor. No charges have yet been filed.
