BWI Smoke Is Related To Training: Officials
Officials said the smoke near the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport was planned.

Don't be worried if you see smoke at the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, authorities advise. Firefighters are training Monday morning around the facility.
"There is no cause for alarm," according to a statement from BWI before 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23. "The BWI Fire and Rescue Squad is conducting a fire training exercise this morning."
Officials said smoke may be visible from the terminal and areas around the airport.

BWI Fire and Rescue reported that it would be doing "training fires" Monday morning.
