Co-Workers Argue, One Stabs Other in Hotel Room: Police
The Michigan men are working in the Hanover area, police say, but quarreled Tuesday.

Two co-workers from Michigan who were bunking together at a Hanover hotel argued, with one man stabbing the other Tuesday night, police say.
Anne Arundel County Police were called to Candlewood Suites, 1525 Dorsey Road in Hanover.

The victim, a 36-year-old man, suffered a stab wound to the chest. The suspect, James Curtis Newell, 41, of Battle Creek, MI, was taken into custody without incident, according to police.
The men work for the same out-of-town employer in the Hanover area, and had been sharing the room. Newell and the victim had an altercation which led to Newell allegedly stabbed the victim in the chest with a knife.

The victim was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Newell was charged with first- and second-degree assault, attempted second-degree murder, and reckless endangerment.
