Disturbance At Arundel Mills Mall Planned For This Weekend, Police Prepare To Respond
A disturbance at Arundel Mills mall is planned for this weekend, police said. This would follow last Saturday's fight at the Towson mall.

HANOVER, MD — A disturbance is possible at Arundel Mills mall this weekend, police announced Friday. This potential disruption would follow last Saturday’s large-scale fight at the Towson Town Center.
"We have received credible information that another similar incident is planned for this weekend at Arundel Mills," the Anne Arundel County Police Department said on Facebook. "While we hope this isn't the case, we want to reassure our community and those visiting the county that we are prepared."
Officers did not speculate when the commotion could begin or what could happen.

Anne Arundel authorities said the Towson brawl involved numerous fights, assaults, destruction of property and other disorderly crimes.
The Baltimore County Police Department said it arrested six minors after the uproar. They face charges ranging from disorderly conduct to assault.

Officers did not identify the arrestees. This is normal protocol for juveniles charged with most crimes.
A press release said two police officers suffered minor injuries and a security guard was assaulted while they dispersed the crowd.

"We encourage parents to talk to their children about the incident in Towson, and its potential dangers and repercussions," Anne Arundel County police said.
