Drug Bust Near Odenton Nets More Than $21K: Police

Nearly 900 grams of marijuana, among other substances, were found at a residence in the Seven Oaks area, Anne Arundel County police said.

ODENTON, MD — Two men are facing drug charges after detectives served a search warrant at the house where they were living near Odenton, according to police. Authorities said they recovered marijuana, LSD, cannabis syrup, digital scales and other items at the residence.

Dandre Dvere Grady, 33, and James Ray Green Jr., 20, both of the 2200 block of Conquest Way, have been charged with possession with intent to distribute drugs and related offenses.

Officers from the western district's tactical patrol unit served the narcotics search warrant on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the residence in Seven Oaks, according to authorities.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said the following were found:

  • 896.05 grams of marijuana (approximate street value: $17,921)
  • About 25 tabs of LSD (approximate street value: $425)
  • 1 ounce of cannabis syrup (approximate value: $20)
  • Cocaine residue
  • Two digital scales
  • Paraphernalia
  • $2,943 in cash

Both Grady and Green were charged with possession with intent to distribute LSD, possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances, possession of more than 10 grams of marijuana, two counts of possession of drugs other than marijuana, two counts of possession of paraphernalia and keeping a common nuisance by distributing drugs.

Grady, pictured below, posted $5,000 bond on Tuesday, Oct. 2, court records show.

Green, pictured below, posted $3,000 bond on Tuesday, Oct. 2, according to court records.
