Glen Burnie High School Students Robbed at Gunpoint
Two teens were walking back to the school Friday after lunch when a suspecct armed with a handgun robbed them and hit one with the gun.

Two Glen Burnie High School students walking back to school after lunch Friday were robbed at gunpoint, according to police.
The robbery was reported about 2:13 p.m. near Alley 203 and Glen Road. The victims reported the incident to a School Resource Officer at Glen Burnie

The two students told Anne Arundel County police they were walking back from a restaurant after lunch when they met a man armed with a handgun. The suspect went through the pockets of one victim and then tried to do the same to the other victim, who resisted.
Police say the suspect struck the victim in the head with the gun, then fled on foot. The victim suffered minor injuries.

The victims walked to Glen Burnie High School, where they reported the robbery to the school resource officer.
While several patrol units checked the area, they did not find the suspect, described as a mixed race male, about 5’10”, wearing a white sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
