Hanover Safeway Stabbing Suspect from Severn Arrested
A Severn teen has been arrested for allegedly stabbing two teenagers during a fight outside the Safeway store in Hanover, police say.

HANOVER, MD — A Severn teenager has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing two teenage boys during a fight outside the entrance to the Hanover Safeway store, authorities say. The Jan. 24 brawl happened as shoppers came and went from the grocery store at 7643 Arundel Mills Boulevard.
Anne Arundel County Police say the confrontation between two groups of people near the store became physical. Both victims were treated at University of Maryland Shock Trauma for non-life-threatening wounds, police say.
Detectives identified Darrel Doboshae Peace, 18 of the 1700 block of Meade Village Circle in Severn, as the suspect responsible for the stabbings. An arrest warrant was issued for him on Jan. 25. Police say Peace was located near BWI Airport and taken into custody Feb. 4 by Maryland Transportation Authority Police.
