Fatal Shooting: Second Suspect Sought In Anne Arundel Killing Of Prince George’s Man
A second shooting suspect is wanted in the Anne Arundel killing of a Prince George's man, police said. Officers are looking for the suspect.

LAUREL, MD — The Anne Arundel County Police Department is looking for a second suspect in a recent Laurel shooting that killed a Prince George's County man.
Officers said they are searching for 27-year-old Christopher Rackwon Rojas of Laurel.
Rojas is wanted in last Wednesday's killing of 32-year-old Antwaun D. Conyers of New Carrollton, authorities said.

Police said there is a warrant out for Rojas' arrest.
Patch checked Maryland's court database to find the exact charges that Rojas is wanted on, but the system does not yet list this information. It sometimes takes a few days for charges to show up in these online records.

Detectives asked anybody with information on Rojas to call (410) 222-4731. Tipsters can stay anonymous by dialing (410) 222-4700.
Rojas is the second suspect that officers said is connected with the shooting.
Authorities announced Friday that they arrested 46-year-old Rakyia Talley of Laurel.
Court records show that the accused woman faces three felony charges and six misdemeanor charges. Talley's most serious charges are first- and second-degree murder along with first-degree assault, which are all felonies.
The Shooting
Conyers was fatally shot Wednesday near a shopping center, authorities said.
Detectives think the victim and the shooter knew each other.
Investigators are still trying to figure out a potential motive.
Officers said the shooting happened around 10:15 a.m. in the 3500 block of Russett Green East. That's just outside the Russett Green Center, which is anchored by Walmart and Sam's Club.
Authorities said the victim was shot at least once while walking on the sidewalk along Russett Green East.
The shooting did not happen in the shopping center itself, police said. The shopping center stayed open for business.
Officers said the suspect fled in a dark-colored sedan toward Laurel Fort Meade Road.
The fire department pronounced the victim dead on the scene, authorities said.
The investigation is still in its early stages. Police hope to find some surveillance cameras in the area, as the shooting happened in a highly populated neighborhood.
Officers said this was a targeted shooting, not a random act of violence.
"It's an absolute tragedy, and our hearts go out to the victim's family," Cpl. Chris Anderson said at a Wednesday press conference. "It's hard for us to make sense of things sometimes. I've been a cop for 21 years and I've seen a lot of stuff that I can't make sense of."
