Odenton Volunteer Fire Company Donates To Cancer Center
The Odenton Volunteer Fire Company donated $3,000 to the Tate Cancer Center in Glen Burnie.

From OVFC: On February 12th, Odenton Volunteer Fire Company (OVFC) Past President David Lewis and member John Kraft presented a donation of $3000 to Adrienne Carroll of the Tate Cancer Center in Glen Burnie.
The OVFC has supported breast cancer awareness month (October) for the last several years with members wearing pink t-shirts while on duty and the various events in support of those who have suffered through breast cancer and other cancers. In 2018, member John Kraft approached the Board of Directors and asked approval to design a new t-shirt that we would sell to members and the public with proceeds donated to a cancer related charity. The Board of Directors approved the request and directed that the profits from the sales be donated to the Tate Cancer Center. The t-shirts were sold during the month of October at Odenton Day, Food Truck Thursdays, and other events.
Thanks to our community support, shirt sales were very successful enabling the OVFC to make this donation to the Tate Cancer Center at BWMC.
