Pizzeria Owner Trades Gunshots With Robbers In Crownsville: Police
Anne Arundel County Police say the owner of a Crownsville pizza shop traded gunshots with robbers as they fled his business Sunday.

CROWNSVILLE, MD — A Crownsville pizza shop owner traded gunshots with robbers as they fled his business Sunday, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The robbery and gunfire happened about 11:15 a.m. at Milano Pizza, 1021 Generals Highway in Crownsville.
The business owner told officers that as he was closing for the night, a man entered the restaurant armed with a handgun and demanded money. Two more men then entered the pizzeria, one of whom also had a handgun.
Police say the owner complied with the suspects’ demands and the robbers then fled the business, exchanging gunshots with the business owner. Authorities don't know if any of the suspects were injured during the gunfire.

Officers searched the area, along with a K9 unit and police helicopter, but were unable to locate the suspects.

- Black man, 20-25 years old, 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing dark clothing and ski mask
- Black man, 20-25 years old, 5-10, thin build, wearing dark clothing and ski mask
- White man, 5-08, heavy build, wearing blue jacket and black pants
