Police Seek 2 Men in Jessup Shooting
Brandon Durell Johnson of Severn is wanted along with a Baltimore man after a March 20 incident, according to police.

Anne Arundel County Police have obtained arrest warrants for two men—including a Severn resident— in connection with a shooting in Jessup last month.
Police said they are looking for Brandon Durell Johnson, 23, of Eagle Court in Severn, along with Kaliq Uqdah, 20, of Baltimore.
According to a press release, the two men are accused of breaking into another man’s apartment on March 20. Police said one of the suspects displayed a handgun and shot the 45-year-old victim in the leg, before fleeing.

Johnson and Uqdah are still at large, but police have warrants for their arrest. Johnson is known to spend time in the Springmeadows and Stillmeadows communities. Uqdah may have a bald head and spends time in Pioneer City, police said.
A search of online court records does not show any previous incidents of violence by Johnson, though he was placed on probation after being charged for marijuana possession in 2008.
Baltimore City police charged Uqdah with eight crimes, including armed robbery, in 2009, but prosecutors did not pursue a trial.
Anyone with information on the two suspects is asked to call Anne Arundel County police at 410-222-8610 or the Western District at 410-222-6155.
