Severn Drug Suspect Who Crashed Into 2 Police Cars Sentenced
A Severn man who rammed two patrol cars when he tried to flee from county police and state troopers was sentenced on assault charges.

MILLERSVILLE, MD — A Severn man and drug dealer who crashed into two patrol cars and fought with officers before he was arrested has been sentenced to 16 years in prison and five years of supervised probation, prosecutors said. Antron Trimitrious Bulow, 35, of Severn, was in court Friday for sentencing on two counts of second-degree assault, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance, resisting arrest, fleeing and eluding, and failure to remain at the scene of an accident.
A circuit court judge also sentenced Bulow to an additional 18 months, consecutive to his state prison sentence, for violating his probation.
Bulow pleaded guilty to the charges, which stemmed from a 20-mile police chase on March 23, when Anne Arundel County Police officers reportedly tried to stop him for speeding. He failed to pull over near Millersville Road and Waterberry Road in Millersville, and drove toward Interstate 97.

A Maryland State Police trooper tried to stop Bulow on I-97, but the suspect continued northbound until exiting onto Quarterfield Road. At that point Bulow’s vehicle intentionally crashed into a trooper’s patrol car, police say.
The pursuit continued to the area of Oakwood Road and Aquahart Road, where county police officers had shut down the intersection and deployed stop sticks to puncture Bulow’s tires. He intentionally struck an Anne Arundel County Police car, then drove over the stop sticks, officials said.

Bulow jumped out of his car, refused to surrender and reportedly assaulted a county police officer before he was taken to the ground by a state trooper. Inside Bulow’s vehicle, officers said they found 2.24 grams of crack cocaine and $555 in cash.
"This defendant has an egregious history of assault and dealing drugs that needed to be stopped. He has consistently placed innocent lives in harm's way," said Anne Arundel County State's Attorney Wes Adams in a statement. "I want to thank Judge (Michele) Jaklitsch for putting him in jail for 16 years, a sentence that communicates to other would-be offenders that we will not tolerate criminal activity in our county."
Bulow had cocaine in his possession and hospital records showed he had been under the influence of cocaine at the time of the arrest.
