Timbuktu Restaurant Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested
Two men who reportedly held up employees at Timbuktu Restaurant in Hanover have been arrested. One woman was injured.
HANOVER, MD — Authorities have arrested two Baltimore men who reportedly held up employees at the Timbuktu Restaurant in Hanover on Nov. 17, and struck one of the workers before they fled. Anne Arundel County Police say suspects Antonio Lamar Thomas, 24, and Milton McLean, 48, were identified, and arrested March 16 after a search warrant was executed.
Both men were charged with armed robbery, robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm/violent crime, theft over $1,000, and handgun on person.
Police say the two men, each armed with a handgun, entered the restaurant at 1726 Dorsey Road and demanded money from employees.

The thieves took an unknown amount of cash, ran out of the business and ran toward Route 100, authorities say. Anne Arundel County officers, including K9 air aviation units, searched the area, but did not find the suspects.
A woman who works at the restaurant was struck by one of the suspects and suffered a minor injury. She was taken by Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel to a local hospital for treatment.
