Wheelchair-bound Victim Robbed In Odenton: Police Report

The incident occurred on Route 175 near Sappington Station Road.

ODENTON, MD — A person traveling home in an electric wheelchair told Anne Arundel County police officers that on May 9 at approximately 1:30 p.m., someone ran up from behind and hit the wheelchair. The impact was strong enough that it caused the victim to become disoriented, according to a police report.

The suspect then stole a duffel bag belonging to the victim and fled the scene. Officers on the scene were able to locate the suspect who still had the victim's property in his possession, the police report noted. The incident occurred on Route 175 near Sappington Station Road. Donte Antonio Boston, 31, of Annapolis, faces charges in the incident.
