Romeo & Juliet - Shakespeare in the park

The temperature is north of 90 degrees at 7:30 at night, but that doesn’t stop a dedicated band of local Shakespearian actors from gathering under a grove of trees to rehearse.  The group of performers, part of Reisterstown’s own Reisterstown Theatre project,
are rehearsing the bard’s immortal love story, Romeo and Juliet.

The troupe, under the direction of Josh McKerrow, boasts a
number of local members including community favorites Deb Carson and Bill Soucy, a gifted young actress Shelby Hylton, Kat McKerrow and Theatre Project resident Bob Frank.  Another dozen or so ctors, stage hands and prouction team members round out the production.

President Bob Frank describes the cast as a very talented
group with “an amazing base of experience in both theater generally and Shakespeare specifically.  This cast
njoys the show, enjoys working with each other, and enjoys performing.  It really is an incredible group of people.”
