Maxx and Melissa Are the Pets of the Week at Bmore Humane in Reisterstown

Dog basking in golden years seeks new home. Petite cat with a penchant for wand toys is also on the prowl.

This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Maxx and Melissa. Here's a little about each of them ---

Maxx:

Hello, I'm Maxx. If you are looking for a sweet older gentleman who needs a loving home where he can spend his golden years then I’m the one for you. I may be almost 14 years old, but I am still a spunky guy, if I do say so myself. I love people and being held and carried around, and will also give you kisses that will make you melt. In my previous home I lived with everything -- dogs, cats and kids! Needless to say, they all loved me. I am a staff favorite and if you stop in soon to meet me, you will find out why.

Melissa:

Hi! My name is a Melissa, and I am a sweet one year-old cat. My foster mom has this to say about me... "She is super cute with her medium length longish coat and unique markings. Very sweet, petite, and uses her litter box without fail. She likes to play independently with balls and socially with wand toys. She likes to stretch, purr and uses a scratching post if it's tall enough. She purrs when being pet on her head, back and chin." If I sound like the cat for you, please contact BHS and we can set up a meeting. Hope to see you soon!
