McDonogh Lacrosse Coach Leaves Before 2018 Season
The coach who was named USA Today's girls lax coach of the year announced his departure from McDonogh School this week.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — The acclaimed lacrosse coach at the McDonogh School announced his departure this week. The school reportedly sent an email notifying families of the change.
Coach Chris Robinson said that he resigned from his 13-year position as the girls lacrosse coach and as a middle school teacher at McDonogh to further his career and build his company.
"It was not an easy decision, but one that I felt was in the best interest of me and my family," Robinson posted on Facebook. "The timing may not seem perfect, but many times when opportunity comes knocking it is not the ideal time."

Robinson said that his plan was to work on expanding Robinson Sports, the business he established in 2014 to manage lacrosse events and venues.
"Building the National Girls Lacrosse League and Robinson Sports to a national level is a major goal for Robinson Sports and I am exciting for this opportunity to use my experience in new ways," Robinson said.
