Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On I-695 At I-795: Police

Police said a man died when his motorcycle hit a jersey wall Monday night, and he was ejected.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said a man died in a crash on Memorial Day when his motorcycle hit a jersey wall. The crash happened on the ramp to Interstate 795 from the inner loop of I-695, according to Maryland State Police.

Stanley Lynch, 47, of Baltimore, had hit the jersey wall before 7:15 p.m. Monday, police said.

Lynch was thrown from his motorcycle, according to authorities, who said he and the bike fell 50 feet to the riverbed below.

Police said Lynch was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Based on the preliminary investigation, Lynch lost control of his motorcycle for unknown reasons. The fatal crash remains under investigation.
