Owings Mills Track Club 2014 - Registration is now open! Our program is primarily for kids from 7-14 years old. We accept kids with all levels of ability (from Nationally ranked to beginner) and encourage the kids to be the best they can be. We offer training that will help improve your child's coordination, balance, strength, speed, conditioning, and endurance.
Our kids compete in the long jump / triple jump, high jump, discus, shot put, turbo javelin, multi-event (Triathlon & Pentathlon), sprints (100m, 200m, 400m), middle distance / distance races (800m, 1500m, 3000m), and hurdles (80m, 100m, 200m), relays (4X100m, 4X400m, 4X800m), and race walk. In other words, there is an event that should be a good fit for any and every child!
We have well trained (USATF Certified) and fully committed coaches to help the kids progress. I coach the 7-10 year old sprinters for our team and I can guarantee that your child will get better if he or she pays attention and gives good effort during practice. Send us your athletes from other sports (especially football players) and you will marvel at how much better they are (speed, quickness, and conditioning) when practice starts in late July.
Sign up your children to join our team or recommend our team to your grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and Godchildren! We have a "clinic" season that lasts from Mid March until the end of May and a "competitive" season that covers the months of June & July. Registration is now open atwww.owingsmillstrack.com.
