Owner of Fat Daddy's Crabs Indicted for Murder of Employee
The owner of a Randallstown crab shack reportedly said a worker threatened to kill him, came toward him while reaching in his waistband.

RANDALLSTOWN, MD — The owner of Fat Daddy's Crabs on Liberty Road has been charged with murder in a deadly shooting that happened last month at his business.
Kresslin Vondez Clark Sr., 44, of the 6600 block of Bowman Drive, is charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and using a firearm to commit a felony.
Clark told officers that one of his employees and he were arguing when the worker came at him, threatening to kill him while reaching into his waistband, according to a report from the Baltimore County Police Department.

Officials said that Clark shot the employee once in the upper body before 6 p.m. on Aug. 5.
Daniel Anthony Lyles, 32, of Parkville, was deceased at the scene when officers arrived at Fat Daddy’s Crabs in the 9000 block of Liberty Road, police said. A folding knife was clipped inside his belt, according to authorities.

Clark was indicted by a grand jury on Sept. 7 and released on $250,000 bail, police reported.
