• Trial for Man Accused of Shooting at Father Delayed Until Witness Available (baltimorewitness.org) — Police say a pickup truck tied to a Baltimore City shooting was later found on Woodstream Court in Owings Mills, where the 26-year-old suspect approached officers and was arrested. His jury trial, on multiple assault and firearm charges, was delayed one day so the assigned prosecutor and a key witness could be available in Baltimore City Circuit Court.
   

• Owings Mills Man Wins a $100,000 Thanks to Two Pick 5 Tickets (mdlottery.com) — A longtime Pick 5 player from Owings Mills just scored a $100,000 prize after playing his wife's birthday numbers twice on the same drawing. He bought both tickets at the Royal Farms on Red Run Boulevard and now plans to use the windfall to pay bills and help fund his retirement after four decades as an aerospace machinist.
   

• Parkville man sentenced for drug trafficking, firearm charges (somdnews.com) — Federal prosecutors say a Parkville man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for supplying cocaine and carrying firearms in support of a multistate drug ring that operated partly through the Baltimore region. Investigators followed one courier from Virginia to a meeting in an Owings Mills shopping center parking lot, later seizing multiple kilograms of cocaine, cash, and loaded guns.
