Randallstown Library Virtual Tour Shows Inside View
Take a 360-degree tour around the newly renovated Randallstown branch of Baltimore County Public Library.

RANDALLSTOWN, MD — The Randallstown branch of Baltimore County Public Library reopened this week following a ribbon cutting with local officials. The library had been closed since January for renovations.
The $1.1 million project was funded in part through the Maryland State Department of Education.

Here are some of the new features:
- Enclosed children's and teen areas
- Meeting room with 221-person capacity that can be reserved
- Center of Excellence (COLAB) with laptops, holographic computer, PlayStation 4 and robots
- Print and audiovisual library materials
- 33 desktop computers plus one children's computer
- Four study rooms
- Free wifi
- Comfortable seating, new shelving and updated restrooms
“We thank our customers for their patience as we renovated the Randallstown Branch to bring 21st century library services to the community,” said Baltimore County Public Library Director Paula Miller. “In addition to books and electronic resources, this update allows us to provide transformative experiences and user-friendly spaces that make a positive difference in peoples’ lives.”

A build-it-yourself computer with coding kit and a 3D printer are still to come at the branch, officials said.
Library programming resumes from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, with the Build a Better World Science Show with Science Guys of Baltimore. The Randallstown Branch will begin its weekday Lunch and Learn series, a hands-on learning program for those 18 and under that comes with free boxed lunches, on Monday, July 3.
