Randallstown Library Branch to Close in January 2017 Temporarily
Additional space and interior updates are being added to the Baltimore County Public Library in Randallstown.

RANDALLSTOWN, MD — The Randallstown branch of Baltimore County Public Library will close for several months in the new year for renovations. Starting Monday, Jan. 30, the Randallstown library will be closed.
The following features are part of the Randallstown branch renovation:
- 29,000 square feet of library space
- 30-plus public computers
- Free wifi throughout
- Laptop bars with outlets
- Updated public restrooms
- Three study rooms
- Large meeting room for public use and library events
- Quiet reading room
- Self-service checkout stations
- Expanded, enclosed children’s area
- New seating
- Single and collaborative workspaces
- New shelving
- Enclosed teen space
- More print and audiovisual materials
- Digital media displays
- Baltimore County Public Library Center of Excellence —a computer/technology/make-create space
"Thank you for your patience during this time," the Baltimore County Public Library said in a statement. "We can't wait to share the new space with you!"
