Spill On I-795 Slows Traffic Friday Morning Near I-695

BREAKING: Debris has fallen onto Interstate 795, bringing traffic near the I-695 exit to a slowdown.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Debris in the road has caused slowdowns on both Interstate 695 and Interstate 795 Friday morning in Baltimore County. The inner and outer loops of the Baltimore beltway are impacted.

The debris fell into the road around 10 a.m. on I-795 north past the exit for I-695, according to state transportation officials.

After 11:15 a.m., there was still one right lane closed on I-795 north, as well as the right shoulder; traffic was getting by on the left.

Stones spilled from a dump truck, according to WBAL Radio, which reported the cleanup brought traffic in the area to a standstill.
