• Father Sentenced In Toddler's Death (patch.com) — A man has been sentenced to life in prison after his 2-year-old child died from severe injuries, in a case announced from Oxon Hill that deeply concerns Prince George’s County families. Investigators said the toddler’s wounds were inconsistent with an accident, and the medical examiner found multiple traumatic injuries before prosecutors secured a first-degree child abuse resulting in death conviction.
