Save a Life: Adopt a Pet!

Are you thinking of adding a furry friend to your family? Adopt, Adopt, Adopt!

The shelters & rescues in Baltimore are overflowing with available pets which means innocent, adoptable animals are being euthanized due to lack of space.

Below are a few reasons why you should adopt rather than buy your next pet:

1.) Every animal adopted from a shelter or rescue makes room for another animal to be saved.

2.) When you adopt from a rescue or shelter (at least the reputable ones) your pet will already be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and hopefully micro-chipped.

3.) You can find any breed, shape, size, color, demeanor, etc. that you could possibly want, you just have to look. Yes, even purebred cats & dogs end up in shelters and rescues.

4.) Every year millions of innocent animals are euthanized due to overcrowding in shelters. You can’t save them all but you can save 1 (or 2)!

5.)Your rescued pet will be so grateful and happy that you gave him/her a second chance at life.

Candi is a beautiful black and white girl who has been waiting for a family to call her own for a very long time. She is sweet, loving and makes great company. She’s a little uneasy about being held but she loves to sit with you on the sofa or take a nap with you in bed. Candi is truly a wonderful cat that has been overlooked for so long. While she adores people, Candi would prefer to be an only pet. Candi has been spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and comes with a free 30 day health insurance plan! We estimate this lovely feline to be 2-3 years old.
