Some December 2012 Housing Numbers for Parkville Zip Code

It was a mixed bag for the month of December in regards to housing numbers in Baltimore County and zip 21234, in particular. There was a large decrease in the number of houses available for sale.

Here are some facts from the January 2012 housing numbers for Baltimore County and Parkville. All numbers are compared to December 2011.

For Baltimore County:

Housing units sold were up 5.8%

Average selling price was up 1.8%

Active listings were down 23.8% from a year ago!

For Parkville:

Housing units sold were down 5.45%

Average selling price was down 4.32%

Active listings were down 29.78%

Average selling price: Single-family: $178, 669, Down 7.87%; Attached: $143,611, Up 4.25%
