The highlight of the program was a series of performance poetry presented by The Fifth L, represented by David Ross, Femi Lawal and Kutia Jawara. The three award-winning performers have inspired audiences of all generations in Baltimore and throughout the country. Mr. Ross is participating in an internship program at Oak Crest to enhance his career path as a social worker.

Following the program, Mr. Ross and Mr. Lawal took questions from the audience, moderated by Maria Reyes, Manager of Resident Services. Special thanks are extended to the Catering Department for preparing a delicious brunch and Oak Crest TV for coordinating the audio-visual components of the event.
