Two Charged in Parkville Homicide: Police

Baltimore County police charged a pair of Loch Raven men with murder in Welcome Inn shooting.

Two men have been charged with murder in connection with a Friday night homicide at the Welcome Inn, according to a statement from the Baltimore County Police Department.

Authorities believe the shooting was drug-related, the statement said.

Aaron Phillip Nedd, 28, of the 8700 block of Loch Bend Drive, was shot several times in the upper body Friday night, according to police, who said Nedd was selling marijuana from his apartment.

Baltimore County fire personnel pronounced Nedd dead at the scene before 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, police reported.

On Friday evening, two men had come to Nedd’s apartment at the Welcome Inn to buy marijuana when they got into a fight, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

During the fight, one man shot Nedd several times, and then the two suspects left, according to the report.

Perentz Darond Anderson, 30, and Mark Eugene Garland, 26—both of the 5700 block of Edgepark Road in Loch Raven—were charged with first-degree murder, the report said.

Anderson and Garland were being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, police said.
