APG: Booms Around Perry Hall Ongoing Until Dec. 21
Detonation testing at Aberdeen Proving Ground could create noise between Dec. 17 and Dec. 21.
Perry Hall residents may continue to hear loud booms between Dec. 17 and Dec. 21, according to an announcement from the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Over the past month, the center has conducted large detonations.
According to a statement from the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, "detonations are likely to generate sound and/or vibration" outside APG gates. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the testing may be rescheduled.
