Assistant Principal: 'Could This Be an Earthquake?'
A Perry Hall High School administrator shared his earthquake experience.

Assistant Principal Stephen Arnold, a spokesman and longtime fixture at , shared his earthquake experience with Patch Tuesday afternoon.
"I was just sitting at my desk working at the computer and all of a sudden, everything started moving," Arnold said. "Could this be an earthquake? How strange."
While classes do not resume until Monday, faculty members and several student athletes were inside the school when a magnitude 5.8 quake sprang from Virginia at 1:51 p.m.

Arnold announced an evacuation of the building and faculty and students were sent home early. School administrators confirmed that the quake caused .
"It's that pause like, this doesn't happen here, so maybe this is not what we think it is—then we found out it was," he said.
