BCPS Looks To Restore Dozens Of Critical Jobs

Baltimore County Public Schools is aiming to restore over 100 critical positions with new funding.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The school district has announced that it could soon restore some 140 critical positions.

The announcement came Friday, during a presser between Baltimore County Public Schools Superintendent Myriam Rogers and County Executive Kathy Klausmeier.

In line with Klausmeier's proposed budget for fiscal year 2027, the school district would see over $9 million in additional funding.
