Blue Acura In Perry Hall Sparked Alarm: Report
Officials pursued a car from Overlea into the Seven Courts area this weekend reportedly as part of the probe into a police shooting.

PERRY HALL, MD — A traffic stop that went awry in Baltimore City ended up in Perry Hall over the weekend. It was reportedly related to the investigation into the shooting of Sgt. Isaac Carrington.
Carrington was off-duty and talking with a neighbor in northeast Baltimore when a masked man held them up at gunpoint, then chased and shot Carrington multiple times, officials reported. The shooting in the 5600 block of Summerfield Avenue occurred before 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Investigators said they believed the masked man was dropped off and driven away in an Acura.

Despite the pursuit that ended in Perry Hall on Saturday and another that concluded in Lansdowne on Friday, police have not located the suspects in the violent robbery.
"The investigation into the shooting of Sgt. Carrington continues as detectives work to positively identify suspects," Detective Nicole Monroe told Baltimore Patch Sunday, Aug. 11.
Carrington has undergone surgery at the hospital and was placed on life support.
On Sunday, Carrington and Police Commissioner Michael Harrison released a YouTube video in which the police sergeant assured people: "I'll be back."

Police arrested two people in Lansdowne Friday, Aug. 9, after the blue Acura they were in did not pull over in an attempted traffic stop in south Baltimore. It ultimately stopped on Annapolis Road at Park Drive in the Baltimore Highlands area of Baltimore County. Officials later determined the two people and the car were not connected to the shooting of Carrington, WBAL reported.
The Special Investigation Response Team and homicide unit are working on the case. There is a $19,000 reward for information.
