Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday

Those 7:30 a.m. commutes are about to get a little brighter. Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4. 

Remember, you'll "fall back" by setting your clocks back one hour. Many electronic devices automatically adjust when Daylight Saving Time begins or ends.

When you change your clocks in the fall and spring, it’s also a good time to change smoke detector batteries and check to make sure other devices are in working order.

What will you do with the extra hour? Take a walk at Honeygo Run Regional Park, volunteer at the Seven Oaks Senior Center, or just sleep in? Tell us your plans in the comments. 

And remember, your friends in Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa didn't observe Daylight Saving Time to begin with.
