Disorderly Youths At White Marsh Charged: Police

Police said an officer was assaulted when authorities responded to a group of disorderly youths leaving White Marsh Mall.

WHITE MARSH, MD — Police said multiple juveniles were charged in connection with an incident Saturday night on The Avenue at White Marsh. There were at least three youths charged with offenses ranging from assault to destruction of property, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Officers said they were dispatched to the 8100 block of Honeygo Boulevard for a group of juveniles heading to The Avenue at White Marsh from the White Marsh Mall at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29.

Two girls were charged with assault in connection with an incident involving a police officer, authorities reported. The officer was not injured, and police did not provide further information.

One boy was charged with destruction of property and disorderly conduct in the 7900 block of Honeygo Boulevard, police said.

There was an additional assault that authorities say remains under investigation.

The incident came after another disturbance drew police to the area outside the White Marsh Mall in August. Nine people were charged in that case, including seven juveniles.

And in September, shots were fired and a man was stabbed outside The Avenue at White Marsh.
