Donations, Benefits for Perry Hall Student Shooting Victim
Money and gift cards are being collected to support Daniel Borowy, who was shot inside Perry Hall High School on Aug. 27.

Several benefit events and collections have been announced to support the family of , a 17-year-old special needs student who was shot inside Perry Hall High School on Aug. 27.

One of the efforts, Prayers for Daniel, organized on Facebook, has been set up by family spokesperson Kathy Germack. Anyone interested in donating may contribute money via the Borowy's family church's website, the Perry Hall Family Worship Center.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School in Kingsville is also collecting gift cards from local businesses for the family. They may be dropped off or mailed to the following address:

on Belair Road in Kingsville is also holding a for Borowy Friday, Sept. 7, between 4-8 p.m. A portion of the $25 cover charge, that includes beer, food and music, will be donated to the family.
Buffalo Wild Wings in White Marsh is holding a spirit night and benefit for the Borowy family on Wednesday, Sept. 12, between 4-9 p.m. Ten percent of sales that night will be donated to the family, according to worker Jennifer Thomas Devincent.
The Perry Hall High School's Class of 2007 plans to donate all of the profits from a bull roast on Friday, Sept. 7, according to Keri Wallace Stelmack. Tickets are $40. More information is available on the Facebook page.
The Perry Hall High School Alumni Association is donating all funds collected through September to the Borowy family. According to organization president Shannon Otakie Bray:
If you would like to make a donation, please go to our website and click the "donate" button to the right. We will assume that 100% of all funds donated over the course of the next month are to be directed towards the Borowy family.
