PTSA President Tom Koogle released the following statement about the event:
Our first Pacing for Panthers will be held on October 26th and 27th - that's this Wednesday and Thursday!! Students will jog for one 50-minute mod during their Physical Education class. Please support our students in this important fundraising activity. Contributions to the PHMS PTSA help fund student planners, educational assemblies, and educational enhancement materials. We are hoping that each student will collect at least one pledge or donation. Please remember to return all pledge forms by race day. Students will have an opportunity to compete for a number of prizes based on their collected monetary donations. Participating students will also receive service learning hours. The homeroom in each grade with the most participation will receive a donut and juice breakfast.
We are anticipating that this will be our only fundraiser of the year, but for this to happen it must be a success. Panthers, keep prowling for last-minute pledges and donations. The pacing begins this Wednesday!
As always, thank you for your support of the PHMS PTSA.
