Get Out and Vote!

The number of voters participating in today's primary election could be anywhere from 50,000 to 130,000, said Katie A. Brown, Director of the Baltimore County Board of Elections. But regardless of how many people come out to vote, the county does not anticipate any problems at polling places, she said.

Perry Hall residents, who are generally included in the Eleventh Election District, can easily find out where they vote and who will be on their ballot by accessing the website for the Maryland Elections Center, provided by the Center for American Politics and Citizenship at the University of Maryland, College Park.

"The website has received much higher usage over the past few weeks leading up to the primaries," said Michael Charlebois, a coordinator at the center. He said that Maryland's upcoming gubernatorial election is sure to bring even more users to the site in the coming weeks.
