Kidnapping Charges Filed Against Rosedale Man
Police said a man was arrested Wednesday in connection with an incident that happened Saturday on Fullerton Avenue.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A Rosedale man has been charged in connection with an attempted kidnapping on Fullerton Avenue, according to police.
Jawuan Williams, of the 200 block of Hamiltowne Circle, is charged with kidnapping, kidnapping a child under 16, second-degree assault, attempted kidnapping and attempted kidnapping of a child under 16, court records show.
Police said the charges stem from an incident in which a 12-year-old girl was abducted over the weekend.

Around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, police said a girl was walking in the 4400 block of Fullerton Avenue when a man approached her, assaulted her and pulled her into his car.
Police said the child escaped and flagged down a passing motorist for help.

The suspect was described as a 20-to-30-year-old slender Black man with a goatee who drives a silver Nissan Altima, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Williams was arrested Wednesday and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. He is slated to appear for a bail review hearing at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 8, at Baltimore County District Court.
