Kingsville Elementary Festival Celebrates Fall
Teachers, students and community members participated in several autumn-themed activities on Saturday.
's annual drew crowds to school grounds Saturday afternoon.
"Any time we do something at the school, they come ... parents and kids will embrace it," said teacher Amy DeNike, who directed a rubber chicken tossing station at the event.
Sarah Deacon, an art teacher at , ran a face painting station with the help of volunteer middle school art students. "Students are getting service learning hours and, of course, extra credit in art class—not that they need it," Deacon said.

Jessica Cashmyer, whose daughter Ava competed in a hula hoop game, said she enjoyed the event. "Kids love it," Cashmyer said.
