March 8-9: 'Beauty and the Beast' at Perry Hall Christian

The multimedia production involves a cast of 36 children and teenagers.

 

is asking for the community to "Be Our Guest" for its spring musical.

At 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday of this week, 36 students, between the ages of 5 and 18, plan to perform Disney's "Beauty and the Beast." Perry Hall Christian School is Perry Hall's only K-12 private school.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children and students.

"It's a delightful program—the story is beautiful and the kids are doing a great job," said music teacher Debbie Seibert who is directing the play.

The play, held in a the main hall of at 3919 Schroeder Ave., features a multimedia set, Seibert said, involving video, photographs, paintings and drawings.

"The kids were all very involved in the design," she said.
