New Lane Lines To Direct Honeygo Park Traffic
County Councilman David Marks requested the new exit lane lines in response to traffic outside the Perry Hall park.

Ever been stuck behind a long line of cars leaving Honeygo Run Regional Park?
County Councilman David Marks hopes new painted lines at the park's access point along Honeygo Boulevard will make the experience a little easier to bear.
Marks stated in an email to Patch:

Right now, there are often backups as motorists leave Honeygo Park because some vehicles stop in a position that cannot be bypassed on the righthand side.
To remedy this, the county will paint two 10.5-foot wide exit lanes from Honeygo Park to Honeygo Boulevard, as well as a 10.5-foot wide entrance lane. By clearly marking the lanes, there will hopefully be fewer backups for everyone who uses Honeygo Park, particularly when it is heavily used for recreation council events.

Baltimore County recently approved Marks' request for the new lines. The project is expected to be finished by the end of the year, he said.
